DESCRIPTION:Join us for an amazing day with some incredible kids! \nOn Sunday\,\nSeptember 30th\, 2018\,\nDravet.ca will host the 2nd Annual “WALK for the KIDS” at The Chocolate River Station\n391 Coverdale Road\nRiverview\, New Brunswick\,\nCanada E1B 3J6 \nIt will be a fun filled family event that is wheelchair accessible and pets are welcome and our day will include a 2KM walk. \nRegistration begins at 1:00 PM with the walk beginning at 2:00 PM. \nDravet Canada is a volunteer-based Canadian Charity (#850807843RR0001) dedicated to providing education\, support\, research and advocacy on behalf of Canadians living with Dravet Syndrome. We rely on the generous support of individuals like you and our community to help raise awareness and funds\, and we are extremely grateful for your support. \nTo date\, monies raised by all Walks collectively have allowed dravetCanada to award over $300 000 to Canadian researchers to help find a cure and / or better treatment options for Dravet Syndrome! \nPlease come out and walk\, volunteer\, donate or just to cheer us on! DESCRIPTION:Description\nDravet Canada is pleased to be continuing its series of Dravet Days throughout Canada. Dravet Day Montreal will be a bilingual event. Presentations will be in English\, with a French summary at the end. All Powerpoint slides will be in both languages. \nIt will be an excellent opportunity to meet\, network and share experiences with families living with Dravet Syndrome. Also\, a chance to learn more through information sharing between doctors\, researchers and families. \nTarget audience: families living with Dravet; medical professionals\, researchers and other healthcare providers; school personnel\, therapists\, respite workers\, community agencies and others involved with children living with Dravet. \nA dinner will take place the evening before (Friday\, April 13\, 2018). Limited seating is available. If you wish to attend\, please RSVP at time of registration (email info@dravet.ca) to secure your place. Further information will be provided. \nAdult only event.
