Non-Scheduled Time Usage:
Expand the variety of activities participated in during non-scheduled time in order to foster level of independence in the area of interrelated skills.

Many and varied play activities with peers during unstructured times. Sometimes these activities will be chosen for the child. Sometimes opportunities will be given for the child to make their own decisions.

Choose a favourite activity without prompting
Take part in painting/craft activity with peers/leisure pals
Play board games (with peers) that involve turn-taking, with assistance
Complete puzzles (specify size)
Associate with leisure pals during recess, lunchtime in CN classroom
Take greater risks in trying new activities
